"San Jose 2007" was a time...
...for delegates to gather at tables (Mt. Clinton delegates, Heidi Bowman and Richard Bowman prepare for their daily meetings),  
...to consider issues facing MC USA lead by moderator Roy Williams (Tampa, FL) and hear greetings from Mennonite World Conference,  
...for adult and youth worship sessions with a joint gathering on Wednesday evening,  
...to meet old and new friends...  
...and more friends,  
...for attending full (and not so full) seminars and "hallway" concerts,  
...to sing and sing some more at the hymn sing and the Five Times Harder concert,  
...for finding friends at the Subway and in the convention cafeteria,  
...for children and junior high youth to enjoy and learn, too,  
...to appreciate those involved with the technology of the convention, for example, Sylvia Klassen, 16-year-old webmaster of mPress and those involved with video projection,  
...to let technology enhanced our experiences (riding the Light Rail to visit Silicon Valley after the convention) or competed with it (hearing the flights overhead),  
...and to learn more about the issues and events. Selected significant issues:
  • Joining Christian Churches Together
  • Healthcare access for pastors
  • Apology to native peoples
  • Living as Anabaptist Christians in the US today.
